FIRST DAY OF PHOTOGRAPHY CLASS

i love houston, the museum district, the photography center and all the beautiful people that are attracted to it. there is variety in this world. of the 8 students not one of us was the least bit similar, except we were female and we were all carrying huge camera bags. i had to laugh. i was of course the oldest...then we had a beautiful black woman, a cross dresser, a lesbian, a young married woman, a college student, a hippy and a career woman. actually, the cross dresser was a man. i didnt think of her as a man until now.
anyway...
the class got off to a good start. turns out the instructor and i have the same brand lighting equipment...nice. he is bringing lights etc. to class next week. we touched on basic camera info..f stops, aperture, white balance, iso and depth of field. talked about the pros and cons of photoshop and lightroom software. and the first homework assignment is to bring in some of our photos that we are please with the lighting and some we are displeased with the lighting. its critique time !!!! i have plenty of the displeased version. when i decide which its gonna be, i will post them on this blog. then, you guys can critique them too. then, i will share the professional opinions with you.
